How should I prepare my skin for wax?

Exfoliate your skin 48hrs before your appointment. For best results your hair length should be at least 1/4 inch long (this is about the size of a grain of rice) or 3-4 weeks worth of growth. Please avoid shaving or using other hair removal methods between your wax appointments as this may compromise the quality of your wax

What makes WAX'D so effective?

Our Wax's and techniques shrink wrap around the hair as it dries, this enables the hair to be removed from the root, not breaking the hair and leaving the skin smooth.

I'm pregnant can I still wax?

It is generally safe to have a wax after your first trimester. We offer lycon wax's which is suitable for sensitive skin.

What is the difference between Hot and Warm wax?

Accepted Answer

Hot wax is designed to stick only to your body hair and not your skin, this helps to protect the skin and makes the removal virtually pain free without tugging.
 
Warm wax is also known as strip wax and is usually used on larger areas like Legs & Upper back.
